Company Overview
EquityNet, LLC was founded in 2005 with a mission to establish the leading peer-to-peer e-marketplace for private business analysis, capital, and support. Today EquityNet is a patented business support and capitalization marketplace for entrepreneurs, investors, government entities, business incubators, service providers, and other members of the entrepreneurial community throughout the U.S. and internationally. As a complement to the marketplace, EquityNet offers a wide range of customized research services that are tailored to the specific needs of our clients.
Marketplace
EquityNet’s e-marketplace combines a business modeling and analysis engine with a network capability that enables entrepreneurs to organize, analyze, and optimize their business planning and to find funding and support. In turn, investors, incubator managers, service providers, and other members use EquityNet’s novel technology to efficiently screen and analyze companies and to monitor and support entrepreneurs.
EquityNet’s patented business modeling and analysis engine, Enterprise Analyzer, is the industry’s first fully-automated software system that analyzes and compares privately-held businesses, benchmarks a wide range of business parameters against those of peer businesses, estimates business valuation based on over 3,000 private and public market ratios and factors, and statistically estimates business survival risk based on over 500,000 actual cases of business failure and success.
