Eliminating electrical spend for cooling datacenters and cloud service providers through thermal waste recovery.

19% of all power generated globally was used to operate commercial datacenters and cloud service providers. 67% of that, roughly 12% of all power generated, is spent on providing cooling for the servers in these facilities. According to the International Energy Agency, the total sum of all renewable energy produced globally is roughly 22% of global demand. That means that better than half of all renewable energy generated is consumed by server cooling alone and nearly all the renewable energy we produce is being taken by datacenters and cloud service providers.

We have built a functioning prototype (a single server) that eliminates the need for power to be spent on cooling and recovers a large portion of the thermal energy created by running servers. By implementing our solution datacenters and cloud service providers would only require 20% of their current electrical demand. This would reduce consumption from 19% of global power production to roughly 4%, freeing up renewable resources to provide power for other demands.

Our next step is to build a large-scale prototype so that we can further refine the solution and sell licenses for a product that will fit within current infrastructure. We intend to use crypto currency miners to provide a working load for our trials. This will make the prototype pay back it's existence and royalties from licensing the technology will make the investment incredibly lucrative.
