International Biomass Group, Inc.

Missoula, MT 59801, US
Alternative & Renewable Energy

International Biomass Group, Inc. (IBMG) has an extraordinary product and a terrific market opportunity. In the broadest of strokes, IBMG has a proprietary process that uses beetle kill trees plus a binding agent to create an industrial wood pellet used in coal-fired electrical generation facilities. The pellets burn at 10,500 British Thermal Units and are used to augment coal on an 80/20 or 70/30 mix. The pellets burn at a high rate with very little emission. The potential market includes international power plants in countries that are bound by the Kyoto Protocol, as well as domestic plants that cannot meet EPA guidelines. Since a wood biomass solution is the part of every country’s Kyoto 2020 plan, there is a massive demand for this type of product.

The pellets are currently being produced and burned on a smaller scale. IBMG plans to substantially increase the production scale to produce 360,000 tons or more per year per plant. IBMG plans to build five plants over the next five – seven years. IBMG has spent a great deal of time in Asia building relationships, and has a long-term distribution agreement in place to provide product to several South Korea plants.

IBMG has commitments for $6.7 million of $12.2 million project for its first plant. IBMG is looking for the final $5.5 million through a combination of debt($3 million) and equity($2.5 million).

Industrial Grade Wood Pellets

These pellets are about the size and composition of a large slated nut roll candy bar. The are moisture resistant and are so durable they can sustain a train ride to the west coast and a ship ride across the Pacific and remain in tack.

The pellets burn at 10,500 btus and are used to supplement coal in coal-fired electrical generation facilities. Since they burn with very little emission, they are an essential element to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
