JAVA Technologies

Energy Storage & Transport Power

The energy demands on our grid are unsustainable, JAVA Technologies is developing an intelligent network of integrated power storage and vehicle charging systems - changing how energy is used.

JAVA Technologies an integrated network of Electric Vehicle Chargers (EVC) and Energy Storage Systems. Using Liquid Metal Batterie technologies in 1000 kWh units, we will be able to deploy Distributed Energy Storage (DES) along with EVCs – changing how energy is stored.

About 50% of electrical energy produced in the US is waisted each year. The gap between energy production and energy consumption continues to be a major hurdle to moving away from fossil fuels and taking full advantage of renewable energy. Additionally, the growing Electric Vehicle (EV) market is expected to add 30-40% increase load to the existing power grid. While the US has made major strides to change how energy is produced and consumed, there is a fundamental gap in the storage and management of this energy resulting is substantial waist.

JAVA will deliver a distributed, integrated network of EVC and DES, providing a highly scalable network that could provide over 20,000 kWh of energy each day to local markets. Our design will leverage existing EVC technology and utilize Liquid Metal and Lithium-ion battery technology.

As extra energy is produced, during non-peak consumption, the power utility will be able to store excess energy within our DES network. Energy can be sold to EV owners to charge their vehicles or pushed back to the grid during peak demand. This will greatly reduce overall electrical energy waist each day in the US.

JAVA Technologies is developing the hardware, software, and network infrastructure necessary to support the growing demand for efficient energy.
