Company Overview

Laredo Oil acquires, develops, and operates oil fields using our proprietary technology. We use our proprietary EOR methods known as Underground Gravity Drainage to target recovery of stranded crude oil from mature, shallow, declining oil fields.

Laredo Oil acquires and develops mineral properties using either conventional or our proprietary enhanced oil recovery ("EOR") methods. We acquire, develop, and operate applicable oil fields where our proprietary technology can unlock valuable oil reserves.

From prior endeavors the Company gained specialized know-how and operational experience in evaluating, acquiring, designing, drilling and producing conventional oil wells. Based upon that know-how, the Company identified and acquired 45,246 gross acres, and 37,932 net acres, of mineral property interests in the State of Montana.

The Company is raising funds to drill three wells using conventional oil recovery methods on the mineral property interests it purchased. The Company plans to have each well have an 80-acre footprint, so that the first three wells would cover approximately 240 acres, or less than one percent of the Company’s leased acreage. The ability of the Company to secure further funding will determine the extent of future production for the acreage, and the pace of field development.

Conventional Oil Well Drilling

Laredo Oil, Inc. has operated, managed and developed oil fields in four states with over 3,640 wells and 155 employees during its exclusive 10-year partnership with Alleghany Corporation., a NYSE publicly traded entity. The company management includes experienced petroleum engineers with both conventional and UGD experience.

Underground Gravity Drainage (UGD)

Laredo Oil, Inc.. has gained operational experience and possesses the intellectual property for a proprietary EOR method known as Underground Gravity Drainage ("UGD"). In summary, UGD methods collect oil from below the oil-producing zone using gravity to aid oil collection, making oil recovery from depressurized fields otherwise unrecoverable practical and economical.

Beginning in October 2009, the Company focus was on locating mature oil fields with the intention of acquiring those oil fields and recovering stranded oil using UGD. From June 14,2011 through December 31, 2020, we partnered with an Alleghany Corporation subsidiary as a management services provider managing the acquisition and operation of mature oil fields and employing UGD methods to recover stranded oil from them. After the partnership ended in 2020, Laredo Oil retained all the intellectual property associated with UGD. The method is primarily designed to recover oil from shallow fields.
