In his new role, Mr. Richards will be responsible for business strategy and development, partnerships, back office operations, and coordination of the company’s legal and compliance processes.
Mr. Richards’ career began in 1998 when he moved from Fayetteville, AR, to the Atlanta, GA, area during the technology bubble. Soon after relocation, he joined Interland, Inc. Mr. Richards returned to the University of Arkansas to attend law school in 2009. While there, he summered as a Judicial Extern for Justice Danielson at the Arkansas Supreme Court, and later at the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office in Criminal Appeals. On his new appointment, Mr. Richards commented, “I’m delighted to join EquityNet and am proud to be part of such a highly qualified team. EquityNet has helped over 40,000 entrepreneurs raise over $280 million so far, and I’m excited to assist with the development of new initiatives that will expand those numbers exponentially in the months to come. EquityNet’s leadership position within the crowdfunding industry will certainly aid in that endeavor and I look forward to see the results of our hard work and dedication come to fruition.”
