Fayetteville, AR – EquityNet, LLC announced today that Jeff Koenig has been named to the
Company’s Board of Managers. The Board
is elected by Members of the LLC to oversee management and to assure that the
long-term interests of the Members, all stakeholders, employees, customers or
clients, our communities, and the public at large are being well served.
Koenig retired in 2007 as President/CEO
from a leading regional electrical supply distribution company, Upchurch
Electrical, after a 27-year career with that company. The company experienced dramatic growth under
his leadership and became a nationally-recognized Top 200 Electrical
Distributorship. He also served on the
Square D Company Distributor Automation and Technical Advisory Council. Prior to joining Upchurch Electrical Supply in
1979, Mr. Koenig had begun his career in positions with Black & Veatch Consulting
Engineers in Kansas City, Missouri, in that Company’s Power Division on
numerous power facility designs, on Aramco projects and industrial and
commercial projects.
An Electrical Engineering graduate of the
University of Arkansas, Koenig was inducted into the school’s Academy of
Electrical Engineering in 1994. In 2009,
he retired from the Board of Directors of Arvest Bank and is past Chairman of
the Board of the Fayetteville Economic Development Council. He currently serves on the Northwest Arkansas
Council, a collaborative organization that works to build on existing and
develop new areas of strength and vitality in the Northwest Arkansas region.
