Press Release - Glenn Atkins and Mark Wagstaff Elected to EquityNet Board of Managers

Fayetteville, AR -- EquityNet, LLC ( announced today that Mr. Glenn E. Atkins and Mr. Mark Wagstaff have been named to the Company’s Board of Managers. The Board is elected by Members of the LLC to oversee management and to assure that the long-term interests of the Members, all stakeholders, employees, customers or clients, our communities, and the public at large are being well served.


Atkins, Executive Vice President and Director of Research at Garrison Asset Management in Fayetteville, earned his BSBA in Financial Management from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He has managed personal and family equity portfolios since 1981 and has an extensive background in residential real estate leasing and development. In 1987 he began specializing in fixed-income research and management for Monarch Capital Corporation, a Fortune 500 insurance holding company with assets totaling approximately $1 billion, and then in 1994, he joined Llama Asset Management Company, LP (predecessor to Garrison Asset Management Company, LP). Atkins has authored articles for leading financial publications including The American Association of Individual Investors Journal and was a contributing author for a book on bankruptcy investing, recognized by Forbes magazine as one of ... “the best from the class of '92." In addition, he has appeared as a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School.


Mr. Mark Wagstaff is the Vice President of Operations at Virtual Incubation Company, Fayetteville. Wagstaff graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in Electrical Engineering and holds an M.B.A. degree and a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from Rice University. Wagstaff previously worked as a design engineer for Invocon, Inc., a technology research and development firm, and he was the senior project manager at ProLogic Corporation, a software development firm. Wagstaff, who has a wide range of technical and business experience with start-up companies, joined Virtual Incubation Company in 2002, and since that time, the company and its affiliates have grown from 2 employees to 45 employees. In addition to serving as the Vice President of Operations for Virtual Incubation Company, Wagstaff also fills that same role for ten companies affiliated with the Virtual Incubation Company.
